Founding Principles of True Well.th

Eat Well. Live Well. Be Well.

‘Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food’ – Hippocrates

True Wellness and Health is living symptom free with energy and vitality every single day. Given the right support, our body and mind has the inherent wisdom to heal itself from just about anything. Yet, we’re living in a time where health is measured by the absence of a diagnosable disease, and where the connection to the true self is more severed than ever before.

Immunity is low, illness is rife, and hormone disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, diabetes and autoimmune disorders are at an all-time high. There is an epidemic of low mood, depression, infertility and rates of cancer, heart and liver disease are ever spiralling.

Naturopathic Nutrition takes us back to basics, with the emphasis placed on whole food nutrition and supporting the bodies own healing capability. Our body is sending us messages and signals all of the time, and it’s our aim to empower as many people as possible to take control of their health and find their own True Well.th.

Founding Principles:

Nourishing Nutrition - eat a varied wholefood diet every single day. Food’s as nature intended them to be. Remove processed or chemically altered foods. Limit sugar, starches, toxins and poor quality grains and dairy.

Eat to Season – nourish your body with foods fit to the season you’re in. That means warming soups and stews in cold weather to support digestion, lighter cooling foods in hot weather. Eating foods that originated from ground around where you live.

Release the Toxic Load – limit exposure to toxins through what you ingest, and what you put on your skin and body, and limit exposures from the environments you’re in. Can you recognise the ingredients found on packets and bottles? Would you eat them alone? If not, look for an alternative.

Unearth the Root Cause – your body is sending you signs and signals all of the time. What is the root cause behind the symptoms? Where have they originated from and why?

Daily Breath and Movement – walk, run, stretch. Move with meditative purpose with practices like yoga.

Connect with Nature – wake and rise with the sun and rest with the moon. Expose your eyeballs to the sunlight early in the day to set circadian rhythm. Expose your skin to direct sunlight. Ground down and connect your body with the earth.

Community & Purpose – create and cultivate authentic and meaningful connection with yourself and others.
